DJI Mini 2 launches with 4K video support and 31 minutes flight time

The DJI Mini 2 has been launched, offering 4K video support and 4x optical zoom. The lightweight drone comes with OcuSync 2.0, the company’s data transmission technology. The DJI Mini 2 has improved features and improved flight capabilities compared to the DJI Mavic Mini. The maximum transmission range between the drone and the controller has been increased to 10 km. The DJI Mini 2 has a three-axis motorized gimbal, which ensures solid stability.

DJI’s new drone is available from the DJI store for $ 449 (approximately Rs. 33,400). You can also choose to buy the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo, which is priced at $ 599 (approximately Rs. 44,500). The combo includes a propeller holder, a two-way charging hub, a DJI 18W USB charger, and a shoulder bag. It has two more sets of batteries and extra propellers and a bunch of extra screws.

There is still no information about the international availability of DJI Mini 2.

The DJI Mini 2 supports up to 4K video resolution, at 30 frames per second at 100MBps bitrate. It supports HD video transmission up to a distance of up to 10 kilometers. The drone has a 12-megapixel camera. You can choose from wide-angle mode, 180-degree and sphere panorama. Not only JPG, it is also possible to click on RAW photos from DJI Mini 2. The drone’s quick shot modes consist of drone, helix, rocket, circle and boomerang.

The drone has a maximum flight time of 31 minutes and uses a 2250mAh battery. According to the company, the DJI Mini 2 can withstand 29-38kmph winds and take off at a maximum altitude of 4,000 meters. It weighs less than 249 grams, which makes it compact and convenient.

When the DJI Mini 2 is near your smartphone, the DJI Fly app will automatically recognize it and synchronize selected photos and videos at 20MBps. With the trimmed download feature, you can cut out a portion of the footage to edit and download. You can share videos directly on social media. The app can also be used to add soundtracks and filters.
