Fujifilm X-T200 mirrorless camera with 24.2-megapixel sensor, 4K recording

Fujifilm has launched a new camera in India called the X-T200, designed to be compact and lightweight, offering features like a fully articulated touchscreen and 4K video recording. The camera is now available in India at a price of Rs. 66,999, including a 15-45mm kit lens. You can add the 50-230mm lens to the upper bundle with a combined price of Rs. 85,999. The X-T200 is available in three colors – Silver, Dark Silver and Champagne Gold.

The Fujifilm X-T200 weighs just 370 grams and is packed with a 24.24-megapixel APS-C sensor. The company claims that its sensor uses copper wire instead of aluminum, which claims to provide about 3.5x faster readout than the X-T100. You get fast tracking of moving objects, as well as on-sensor PDAF points for face and eye AF. It has a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, which can be pointed outwards for better flexibility in shooting.

The Fujifilm X-T200 also offers 11 film simulation modes, including Velvia and Provia. The camera shoots 4K video with full-pixel readout, equivalent to 6K resolution, and then lowers it to 4K. The latter works at 30fps or you can shoot at 1080p, up to 120fps.

Commenting on the launch, Haruto Iwata, Managing Director, Fujifilm India, said, “India’s camera industry is dynamic and we have seen significant use of 4K cameras from the professional side. The X-T200 caters to photographers’ spending patterns, not only providing a fancy photography experience for end users, but also taking the imaging industry to new heights in product design. “

“We are confident that our latest offer will fill the growing list of professional photographers in India and open up new possibilities in the imaging space,” he added.
