The Nikon Z FC has Eye-Detection Autofocus (AF) and Animal-Detection AF when capturing stills and video. In addition, it supports wide-area AF (L) AF-area to help capture eyes and faces better.

Nikon says the F&C in the Z FC Monica stands for ‘fusion’ and ‘casual’ and refers to the iconic models of the camera brand.
Separately, Nikon also announced the release of the Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 (SE) lens. SE moniker means ‘Special Edition’. The lens is compatible with Nikon cameras equipped with a Z-mount. The design of the wide-angle lens goes back to the lenses that were revealed with the Nikon FM2 SLR camera. The minimum focal length of a fixed focal length camera lens is 0.19m or 0.63 feet. It is highly portable with a length of 43 mm and weight of 160 g. The unique price of the Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 (SE) lens is not yet listed.
