Panasonic Lumix BS1H full-frame box-style camera with 24.2-megapixel sensor

The Panasonic Lumix BS1H full-frame digital single lens mirrorless camera was launched in India on Thursday. Panasonic says its latest digital camera offers movie-quality video performance of the Panasonic Lumix S1H, packed in an easy-to-install box-style profile. The camera has a 24-megapixel full-frame sensor with dual native ISO for capturing video up to 6K resolution. According to the company, the camera can be used to capture video for movies / documentaries, livestreaming, FPV drones and even in multi-camera setups.

The Panasonic Lumix BS1H is priced at Rs. 3,39,990, and is available through all Panasonic-branded stores in India, the company said in a press release.

The Panasonic Lumix BS1H targets professional filmmakers, videographers and digital content makers. It is equipped with a 24.2-megapixel 35mm full-frame sensor with dual native ISO technology that allows users to capture video up to 6K / 24fps. It also offers HFR recordings with sound and autofocus (full-HD). The box-style camera has a maximum ISO 51200, which can be extended up to 204800. It is equipped with multiple recording modes with high connectivity and mobility.

Panasonic says that the Lumix BS1H camera can be used for film making as well as shooting video / footage for live video streaming. The company added that the camera is fitted with heat management for long hours of use. Also, the camera comes with Panasonic’s V-Log format and V-Log / V-Gamut’s 14+ stops. It also features HDR recording with HLG, RAW video data output for high quality recording in low light environment.

Options for the Panasonic Lumix BS1H full-frame camera connection include two SD card slots, a 3.5mm port, a USB Type-C Gen 3.1 port, HDMI Type-A, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an XLR microphone port.
