The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE marked a significant milestone for the company in 2020, as Samsung offered a great, ubiquitous affordable flagship. The manufacturer recently launched the Galaxy S21 FE after a month-long delay, but it is now republishing the original device.
Samsung launches Galaxy S20 FE 2022 in Korea, Never Reported (h / t: GSMA Arena) But those who are hoping for a big change – or any change – may be disappointed.
According to Korean outlets, the Galaxy S20 FE 2022 is the same device as the original model. That means a Snapdragon 865 chipset, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 4,500mAh battery. The phone is equipped with a 6.5-inch 120Hz OLED panel and a triple rear camera system (12MP main, 12MP ultraviolet, 8MP 3x telephoto).
However, the 2022 phone now retails for 699,600 won ($ 577) in Korea, with a reported 200,000 won (~ 5 165) discount from the original price. Although Korean customers are not getting AKG earphones with this model and it is only available in Cloud Lavender, Cloud Navy and Cloud White.

There is no word on the wide availability, although it must be said that the original Galaxy S20 FE is available at discounted prices from various retailers anyway. We’re not sure if the re-released phone will promise a separate, longer update of its own, or if the phone will reach the end of life at the same time as the original model.
