We cap our quarterly lists with the best smartphones you can buy in India for less than Rs 75,000 or 1000 USD as some may choose to keep it. You don’t usually see a big change in this segment every quarter, and understandably some of the phones on our previous list hold their spot. Although some of them have become more affordable, this is great news if you consider them. We have a few new additions that provide some exceptional features and power. It’s time to dump her and move on.
The best phone to buy below Rs 75,000 in India
Apple iPhone 12
The price of Apple iPhone 12 tends to be more attractive every quarter. While the mid-variant with 128GB storage was available in this budget last quarter, you can now buy its 256GB storage variant below 70K. The phone is the perfect size to use with one hand. You get a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display that is compatible with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. A ceramic glass with oleophobic coating protects it from scratches and smog. It also has IP68 rated Ingres protection.
The phone is powered by Apple’s previous flagship A14 bionic chip which is still strong enough with a good headroom for the future. The Apple iPhone 13 Mini is the freshest compact, and arguably the smallest flagship smartphone around. The availability of a proper flagship device in this form factor is a great choice for those who prefer a compact phone without compromising on power without missing any key features. It runs the latest iOS 15 and one can expect new OS updates for another half a decade.
Apple iPhone 13 Mini is much smaller than the iPhone 13 in terms of design, processing power and most of the features. In terms of safety, the phone has an aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus + on the front and back.
