The Insta360 Go 2 has been launched in the US, and is the latest action camera to hit the market. It’s part of Insta360’s Go series, which doesn’t shoot 360-degree like other camera series from the company. As the name suggests, Insta360 Go 2 is the successor to Insta360 Go and the company claims that it brings a lot of improvements. Insta360 Go 2 comes with lots of accessories in the box which makes it quite versatile. This tiny camera has a magnet on the body that allows you to easily attach it to a metal surface.

The Insta360 Go 2 is priced at $ 299 (approximately Rs. 21,800) and is available for purchase in the United States. Insta360 has not disclosed pricing in India, or confirmed availability at this time.

The Insta360 Go 2 is a lightweight action camera with a pill-shaped body. This compact design allows use in areas where a traditional action camera may feel heavy. Insta360 Go has a large sensor and is capable of recording up to 2k footage (1440p resolution) at 50fps. It can record HDR footage at 24fps at the same resolution. Insta360 Go 2 Pro offers basic stability in video mode as well as Insta360’s flowstat stability.
The Insta360 Go 2 has Bluetooth 5 support and has 32GB of onboard storage with 28GB available for users. It can be paired with an iPhone or Android smartphone that can be used as a viewfinder. The Go 2 case can be used as an action camera as well as a remote control for a tripod. The Insta360 Go 2 is IPx8 water resistant and can handle a dip in the pool
The battery capacity of the Go 2 is unknown, but Insta360 claims that it offers 30 minutes of runtime with basic stability or 20 minutes with Pro video mode. The Insta360 Go 2’s case doubles as a charger, and the smaller action camera should be able to top three times. The charger has a USB Type-C port for charging and is claimed to be fully charged in about an hour.
Insta360 has bundled many accessories with the Go 2 including a magnetic pendant, a pivot stand, a simple clip and a lens guard made of hard glass. The lens guard user is changeable in case of damage. The Insta360 Go 2 weighs 26.5g and the charging case weighs 63.5g.
There is an option to customize the look of Insta360 Go 2 and the company plans to bring a Minions version of Insta360 Go 2 soon.
