- Poco has announced that the Poco F4 GT is coming April 26th.
- We’re guessing this is a rebranded version of Redmi K50 Gaming.
- The company further said that it will unveil their first AIoT products at the event.
Poco launched the Poco F3 GT last year, just a rebranded version of China’s Redmi K40 gaming. The company released Redmi K50 gaming in its home market earlier this year and it has now been confirmed that the Poco F4 GT is coming.
Poco has sent an email invitation to the Poco F4 GT launch event streaming April 26 at 8 PM GMT + 8 (8 AM ET). Check it out below.
In addition to the Poco F4 GT, the Xiaomi-affiliated brand has also confirmed that it will offer its first AIoT products. There is no official word yet on what these products are.
Still, we expect the Poco F4 GT to be a rebranded Redmi K50 gaming smartphone. K50 Gaming is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, dual vapor chamber cooling, a 6.67-inch FHD + 120Hz OLED panel and a 4,700mAh battery with 120W charging.
Redmi K50 gaming also comes with retractable shoulder triggers like Poco F3 GT and K40 gaming. Otherwise, the phone has a triple rear camera system (64MP + 8MP + 2MP).
We really liked the Poco F3 GT, so hopefully the new gaming phone doesn’t move too far from last year’s formula and price tag.
