The release date of Dun OTT on Amazon Prime Video in India is set for March 25

Dune – the epic fantasy film that debuted in cinemas in October and on HBO Max – is coming to India on March 25 on Amazon Prime Video. The movie features star-studded cast including Timothy Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem. The Dunn is part of a planned trilogy adaptation of the first two of Frank Herbert’s Dunn novels, and follows the story of the nobleman Paul Atreudes and his family, who are forced into battle because of “melange” or “spice” – the most valuable substance. Amazon Prime Video announced Dunn’s upcoming arrival on the streaming platform on Wednesday, Tweeted“It’s time we took you around Arakis in search of some spice.” The movie was released in India on October 22 with a U / A rating and has since been nominated for 10 Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Adaptive Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Visual Effects.

Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video has also shared the trailer of Dune (in English) on its YouTube channel, and the poster shared by the service reveals that the movie will be available in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. Directed by Oscar-nominated director Dennis Villeneuve, who also co-authored John Spihuts and Eric Roth, Dun – also known as Onscreen Dun: Part One – spans the first half of Frank Herbert’s novel, despite a 2-hour and 30-minute runtime.
