The Twitter account of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s office has been hacked

The official Twitter handle of the Uttar Pradesh chief minister’s office was hacked late Friday night, a senior official said. He said hackers sent 400-500 tweets from the account.

“The account was hacked for about 29 minutes last night. Hackers posted about 400-500 tweets, and the account was suspended due to unnatural activity. Efforts are underway to recover it,” an official told PTI on Saturday.

He added that the Twitter handle would be restored soon.

Twitter handle MCMOfficeUP Has more than 4 million followers.

As can be seen in the screenshot of the hacked account on various news websites, the profile picture of Handel has been replaced with a cartoon.
