- Samsung is reportedly working on a new smartwatch with a huge battery.
- The new watch apparently offers more than twice the capacity of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
Samsung launched its Galaxy Watch 4 series last year, the standard model offering solid battery life when the little classic was disappointed in this regard. Looks like the company might have a solution for those who want a watch with great patience.
Samsung is working on a third Galaxy Watch 5 variant in addition to the expected Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Classic models. SammobileSources claim that this third model – an unofficially dubbed Pro variant by the website – has a 572mAh battery.
In contrast, the Galaxy Watch 4 is equipped with a 361mAh battery and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic has a 247mAh pack. In other words, the battery capacity of the so-called Galaxy Watch 5 Pro Classic model will be more than double, although still significantly larger than the battery of the standard model.
Are you planning to buy a smartwatch in 2022?
We’re wondering how big this watch will be to accommodate a larger battery. So it may not be ideal if you do not want to put a brick around your wrist.
Finally, SammobileSources claim that the rumored watch is not yet 100% sure to launch But hopefully the watch will see the light of day, as Samsung’s smartwatch portfolio can do with other battery champions.
